Printing SA Africa Conference

Themed “Dare to Discover”, the 3rd annual Printing SA Africa Print Conference takes place 15 September, Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand. If you’re one of the 40 delegates securing admission, you’ll find it time well-spent. Whilst our speakers will include Dr. Nicholas Hellmuth from FLAAR Reports and Sean Holt from FESPA, there will also be a panel discussion surrounding business opportunities in Zambia, hosted by a Zambian Government delegation. Mohammed Jogie has studied fine art and graphic design. He has worked on numerous international brands. He is head creative juicer at MSD and is also principal of Mzansi Creative Foundation. A design activist, he is an admin on AIGAfrica – a collaboration with AIGA New York and South African graphic designers. He has served as Vice President of Icograda and served on the boards Think, DSA and Cafe. He is a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers and the London City and Guilds. He is a project lead on the Mandela Poster Project Collective and MSD. Open design innovators initiative.

Design A Dare To Discover Themed Tee Competition FESPA Africa & Sign Africa

Designers are invited to post their “Dare To Discover” themed t-shirt on the FESPA Africa and Sign Africa Facebook pages.

Caption should include the hashtag “#FESPAAfrica”/ “#SignAfricaExpo”, the “Dare To Discover” line.

Entries close on 10 September 2017.

Entrants need to get as many likes as possible by 10 September 2017 (5pm).

The top 15 designs will be printed and showcased at the show. These designs will be printed and displayed onsite for the public vote.

The prize giving will take place at the FESPA Africa & Sign Africa Expo to be held at Gallagher Convention Centre at 11h00 on 15 September 2017.

 

All 9 winners (top 3 in each category) designs will be displayed at the Expo.
Expo visitors will be given an opportunity to select an additional winner from the Designs displayed on the Fujifilm stand by voting for their favourite entry on the voting slip received at Expo registration and placing it in the box designated for this purpose on the Fujifilm stand.
The Design Challenge entrant with the most votes will win a meal voucher at a pre-selected Japanese restaurant.
